Door County!!

Well this past week I went camping in Door County!!  This was the view that was only 50 feet away from where I slept!!  We were right on Lake Michigan those few days that we were camping.

Well I guess I should give everyone an update on how the outlook is for jobs in the area.

I applied to a bunch of jobs in Janesville and I still have to do a lot of applying for Janesville.  I am also waiting for a reply back for maybe an interview but we will see on that. 

I also applied to a few jobs in Beloit (even though I'm not sure how good the schools are but it's a job right!!)

The only thing that has happened so far...

Last Sunday I was at church and my Pastor stopped me to tell me that I needed to get over to Faith to apply because they had some openings.  I kind of took it as a sign because actually both of my pastors and my pastor's wife told me that I needed to apply.  I even think that my pastor told the administrator about me.  So finally on Wednesday I took a resume and cover letter over to Faith Christian School in hopes of maybe hearing something back from them.  Well Thursday I got a call from the administrator about filling out an application for them.  Well I went back over to Faith and picked up an app. so lets hope something comes from that. 

I talked to a friend who is in the same boat as me right now last night and she was telling me that she has had a few interviews but it is hard to get one right now.  I agree I mean because I've applied to a bunch and no interviews so far.  I just have to keep thinking and remembering that God has it all planned out and maybe he isn't giving me interviews because he knows he wants to me teach at Faith (because things are working out so well for Faith).   I think I would like to teach at Faith because it is a christian school but I know the pay won't be very good.

If you guys could keep praying for me that something will work out that would be great!!

I love being a teacher!!

Today was a great day in the fourth grade!! 

Okay here is the story with the sardines picture!!

I think it was maybe a week ago and I was in one of the other fourth grade classrooms.  I had two boys in for recess playing games on the computer and in the computer game they were fishing or collecting sardines.  So I told the two boys that if they eat a sardine I will give them each 20 fabs (fabulous fourth graders--coupons for being good).  So when I saw them today at school they reminded me that I was suppose to bring a can of sardines in so they could eat them.  Well while they were at specials I went to the store and got a can. 

It all went down after school. 

The boys came in along with the other fourth grade teacher and other fourth graders.

Well it turned out that about five or so kids each ate a part of a sardine!!  All I can say is that I was about to through up because of the smell!!  The smell even went into the hallway and smelled like dead fish!! 

It was awesome!!

A Nose Bidet!

Do you know what this is called?  Well I didn't know until I saw it on Oprah!!

My first experience using this neti pot thing!!

I have to say that this is one of the coolest things that I have ever tried!!  It is funny because I first saw it on Oprah and I love what she called it.  She called it a nose bidet and I'm sure all of you know what a bidet is.  Well this is for your  nose and I used it!  In this picture below you can't really tell that water is coming out the other side of my nose but it is.  (If you look at my pictures on the side you can see that it is coming out the other side of my nose!!)

Well here is another picture of me using the neti pot!  Well I guess I should tell you how it even works.  Well you stick this thing in one side of your nose and tip your head to the side and the water goes in your nose and comes out the other side!!  That is pretty much it!!

Well I also forgot to tell you why people use a neti pot.  Well all it really does is it gets all the crap out of your nose and clears it up!!  All I can say now is that I love the neti pot and I encourage everyone to use it!!  If you want to try it let me know!!
